Happy Birthday Boy-Person

Happy Birthday to my boy-person, Gabriel! Thanks for playing with me, picking up my poop, and being my snoring buddy. You rule and you're 29 today which makes you...older than me. According to this dog-age calculator I'm only 27 in people years.  Enjoy the day!

Gross!

I was sick today...I threw up 3 times and each time the stuff was a different color: yellow, brown, and green. It was icky, but I'm better now. Girl-person and boy-person took care of me all day. Thanks you two!

The Name Game

So my name is Elizabeth Swann, but the only person who calls me that is girl-person. And only when I'm in trouble. I will respond to the following nicknames: Liz, Lizzie, Lizzie-Pig, Pig, Piggie, Piglet, Booger-Brain, Boogah-Bwain, Booger, Elizapig, Elizabitch, Chucha, and Chuchis.
Honestly, you can call me whatever you want as long as you have a treat in your hand.

Swimming

Yesterday I went "swimming"...and by swimming I mean being thrown in a pool and making it to the stairs as fast as I can.

I don't like it. Okay. That is all.

My Name & My "Look"

People ask all the time about my eye and I'm sick of the question so here's the quick answer. I lost it in an run-in with a car.

I also injured my leg during that incident and now have a left knee that is locked into place. This combo of one-eye and wobbly leg is where I got my name Elizabeth Swann; we're both fearless, pirate girls.

HI! I'm Lizzie!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. My name is Elizabeth Swann and I'm a 3 1/2 year Boston Terrier.

I live with my girl-person, Amelia and my boy-person, Gabriel in Long Beach, CA. If you are reading this you probably already know my story. But just in case you don't here it is!

Girl-person found a picture of me on petfinder.com and sent in an application to Daschund PAWS, a rescue group that saved me from a shelter in San Diego. Dashund PAWS liked Girl-person's application so they took me to Long Beach to meet my potential people. I felt right at home that day: I was running all over the apartment, jumping on the furniture, and sniffing out the kitchen and pantry. I knew Girl-person was in love with me but I really wanted to stand out so...I peed on Boy-person's back pack. Hee Hee! Well I guess the pee did the trick because I've been with my people ever since. ;)

Love, Lizzie
